Woohoo, I finally did it! I got the "Sign up for my Newsletter" task done. It was was surprisingly simple, but there were lots of decisions to make regarding color, text, placement, etc. I tried to imagine myself as a visitor to my site and how I would feel about a pop-up thing asking me to sign up for a newsletter. Still not sure how I feel about that, but I opted to go with it. It's set on a 10 second delay and once you say "no thanks" it shouldn't return. The next step is to actually create a newsletter, which I will be doing soon when the Plays With Fire rings are available. I will also need to add a shopping cart to my site and set up order processing. Baby steps ya'll, baby steps.
I'm in the process of revamping my website in preparation for the relaunching of my jewelry biz. I'm adding a blog and an option to sign up to my e-mail newsletter. I'm working on getting the Plays With Fire rings back into production and I would like to send out an announcement via e-mail to let everyone know when they are available.
